Anthropology is the study of the human condition.  Anthropologists might think dinosaurs are cool, but anthropologists
do not study (aka dig) dinosaurs.  There area four subdivisions of anthropology: Cultural studies, Archaeology,
Linguistics and Physical.
Physical Anthropology is just like it sounds - it is the physical aspects of the humanity, which also includes
understanding the biological relationship between humans and other primates.
A career in anthropology is limited to research and teaching, that is, if you want to work in the field.  Like any other
degree, it is possible to take the BA and run.  Jobs in the field will vary according to the specialization.  A lot of
archaeologists go on to careers in Cultural Resource Management.  Physical and Paleoanthropology careers are
focused around academics.  However, the skills set learned through anthropology can be successfully applied to any
job and to a large part, your own life.
